Give Yourself
Have You Saved a Life Today?
Most of us think you have to be a doctor or firefighter to be saving lives on a regular basis. We need to start thinking differently. You can be saving lives on a regular basis. It takes so little time it can be done during your lunch break.
Give Yourself...Literally!
The bodies that God has given us are very complex. Regardless of all of the advances in technology we still can't create a substitute for many of the parts of our bodies. Doctors are dependent on donations from individuals for items such as blood, tissue and organs to save the lives of others. Maybe you have been a benefactor of someones donation in the past. Consider the following examples as a way you can save lives:
Blood Donation
Every two seconds someone in INDIA needs blood. That comes out to 120000 people needing blood today in just INDIA. Are you aware that you are saving as many as three lives for each pint of blood that you donate? That is the amount of blood that is donated in one visit. You will be saving multiple lives by being a blood donor. In addition, your body is designed to remanufacture new blood to replace the amount you donated. You haven't given up anything except a small amount of time. Contact Red Cross to learn about giving blood and schedule a time to donate at http://www.indianblooddonors.com/ Lives are depending on it. Please donate blood, and save human life,as its the only source as blood is not manufactured in any factorie's or laboratories
